We live in turbulent times. We have reached levels of knowledge, data and technological progress never experienced before in history. Yet all these achievements don’t seem to be enough when facing today’s tough social and environmental challenges.

Telling the world about the impact and consequences of the Sixth Extinction and making it clear, relevant and compelling to everyone is a daunting task.

That is precisely why we decided to take action and step up to this challenge.

We’re a small team and we all work in the field of advertising, communication or art.
And guess what? We’re all ladies.

We believe that everyone’s skills and areas of strength can help give a voice to those who can’t be heard: the next generation.

Chiara Cant

Founder, Creative Director, Designer

Chiara Cant is a motion designer and director, founder of Italy based animation studio The Magic Collective. After a few years slaving away -oops…working- in the advertising industry, she realized her call to moving images and motion graphics. In between keyframes and animations, she tries to influence social and environmental change through different projects. When she’s not at her desktop, you can see her going to concerts of unpronounceable bands or doing Rajakapotasana. What gets her up every morning? Bold, ambitious and disruptive ideas combined with a polished visual style. If it sounds like an oxymoron, don’t worry: it’s just the magic power of creativity.

Irene D'Agati

Digital Strategist

Born in 1984, she learned to swim before being able to walk. She loves the smell of old books, but she’s a tech girl in disguise. “Growth and comfort do not coexist” is one of her favorite quotes. She cannot live without her red lipstick and she’s an art lover. Sophisticated Italian wines are another passion of hers, besides cooking mouth-watering dishes. Being a marketing manager is just one of the many roles she has: you can find her teaching classes, writing articles and doing lots of other exciting activities. She’d love to die in a library. Her motto? Life is change. If you give up changing, you give up living.

Alice Testa

Engagement Strategist

Alice is an Italian singer based in London. Basically she sings, hangs out and stays out late. She also loves languages and so she has got a couple of MAs in Translation and Interpreting, and Audiovisual Translation. In her free time she befriends cats and travels. Hobbies: breakfast, lunch, dinner. (Not so) Fun fact: in July 2018 she had a close encounter with a 3-metre shark while diving in Polynesia. She didn't befriend him.
